Former deputy prime minister Pracha Promnok was admitted to Bangkok Phuket hospital on Friday night after falling unconscious in his yacht near Naka island in Phuket province.
According to Pol Gen Pracha's family, he had food poisoning but was not severely ill.
His family said Pol Gen Pracha is now in a safe condition and has returned to rest at his home.
