Many attend Jatuporn's mum's cremation

A large number of Pheu Thai Party members and former cabinet ministers as well supporters of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship turned up at Wat Wareewong temple in tambon Namphu of Surat Thani's Ban Nasan district on Sunday to attend the cremation of the mother of UDD key member Jatuporn Prompan.

Nuam Buakaew, Mr Jatuporn's mother, died of old age on Feb 19 at 96.

Former cabinet ministers in the governments of Thaksin Shinawatra, Samak Sundaravej, Somchai Wongsawat and Yingluck Shinawatra turned up for the cremation.  They included Yongyuth Wichaidith, Pol Lt Gen Viroj Pao-in, Yongyuth Tiyapairat, Anudit Nakhonthap and Nathawut Saikuar.

UDD key members Weng Tojirakan and his wife Tida Thawornseth were among the red shirts from the North, Northeast and South who turned up at the temple for the cremation which is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Anuthin Charnveerakul, leader of the Bhumchaithai Party, was among guests from other political parties.
