Where is the update this morning from Malaysia where Deputy PM is visiting to discuss the terrorist issues in the south of Thailand. What are the Bangkok and Nation editors and reporters doing sitting in Bangkok. They should be in Malaysia with the deputy PM to document what is actually being discussed and agreed there. Meanwhile there needs to be rapid deployment of war correspondents in the south so they can get quickly to the scenes of carnage and take photos and report in the media. TV crews also. No time to let up on these strong issues.
