Ex-soldier robbed of gun, motorbike

A former soldier in an army unit in Nakhon Si Thammarat was robbed by three armed men at his house in Muang district of Yala province, who made off with a motorcycle and a handgun, police said. 

Chief Warrant Officer Boonniran Chanterm, 51, told police that the three men arrived on a motorcycle at his house on Phang Muang road  in tambon Sateng, broke into the house, tied his hands behind his back and assaulted him.

The three men fled with his motorcycle and 11mm pistol.
