Thailand will face India today in the final of the inaugural All Asia Cup 2012 at Siam Polo Sport Club in Bang Bo, Samut Prakan.
The Thais, led by Apichet and Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn, are favourites for the contest as India lost 8-5 to the hosts in the first round.
The final starts at 5.30pm and will be live on TrueVisions 102 while the third-place play-off between Mongolia and China is scheduled at 3.30pm.
The four-day tournament, organised by the Thailand Polo Association (TPA), is aiming to be the starting point for Asian countries to develop the sport and will be held every two years in line with the SEA Games.
"It is a good opportunity for countries to join the event especially those which are new to the sport," said TPA president Vichai Raksriaksorn.
The organisers are happy that China and Mongolia are taking part in the event because both countries have a lot of good horses, he said. For more information, visit http://www.siampolonews.com
