Por Pramuk camp boss Pramuk "Kamnan Kae" Rojanatan said he will take legal action against Muay Thai superstar Sombat "Buakaw Por Pramuk" Banchamek for taking part in the Thai Fight event yesterday without the camp's permission.
The boxing camp boss said on Wednesday that he had not expected Buakaw to fight last night.
"Buakaw has never been like this before, since he entered the boxing business, and I'm preparing a case for legal action against him," Mr Pramuk said.
Buakaw Por Pramuk, right, stopped Rustem Zaripov in the second round yesterday.
The camp also planned to take action against the Thai Fight organiser and the Sports Authority of Thailand for failing to prevent the former K-1 champ from entering the ring last night.
Buakaw's long-time manager Teerapat Rojanatan said Buakaw had refused to settle the problem with Por Pramuk.
"I personally want Buakaw to openly talk with us like brothers but he has turned down all of our requests.
"My father [Pramuk] therefore wants us to sue him," Mr Teerapat said.
Last night at the Thai Fight event in Pattaya, Buakaw convincingly defeated his Russian opponent, Rustem Zaripov, with a second technical knockout.
"I decide to fight even though I could be be jailed tomorrow,'' the Thai superstar said after winning the fight.
Before the fight, Por Pramuk had threatened to sue the 29-year-old boxer if he used the name of their camp in the fight. The request was ignored.
Buakaw briefly disappeared last month and claimed that he was being unfairly treated by the Por Pramuk bosses.
The Surin boxer later revealed that financial issues were a main cause of the rift.
