Buriram to face Brisbane

Buriram United will host Brisbane Roar in a one-off play-off match in the AFC Champions League, the Thai club confirmed yesterday.

The Thai FA Cup champions were originally drawn to play in Brisbane on Feb 9 but the Australian league winners will have to play in an A-League match on that day.

Both sides agreed to play at Buriram United's I-Mobile stadium on Feb 13 instead and the move has been approved by the Asian Football Confederation.

The winners will advance to the AFC Champions League group stage and play FC Seoul (South Korea), Vegalta Sendai (Japan) and Jiangsu Sainty (China).
