Rain causes havoc with Pattaya Open schedule

PATTAYA : Rain wiped out play at the PTT Pattaya Open yesterday as tournament officials were forced to reschedule to catch up on lost matches.

Persistent rain forced officials to call off yesterday’s play at the PTT Pattaya Open.

Most affected by the weather is defending champion Daniela Hantuchova who has yet to start her first round match. The Solvakian star, who was scheduled to play Olga Puchkova on Tuesday, will now take on her Russian opponent in the second match on Court One today.
