PATTAYA : Second seed Maria Kirilenko of Russia advanced to the semi-finals of the PTT Pattaya Open with a straight sets win yesterday.
Romania’s Sorana Cirstea returns against Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia.
Kirilenko, who eliminated Thai hope Luksika Kumkhum on Thursday, defeated compatriot Elena Vesnina 7-6, 6-3.
