The Supreme Administrative Court has reinstated Si Sa Ket's right to play in the Thai Premier League, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
Following Tuesday's ruling, Si Sa Ket chairman Thanet Kruarat said he would today talk to officials from the Football Association of Thailand and the Thai Premier League.
He admitted it was not likely for the Koupreys to resume playing in the league this season but he would not allow his team to be relegated.
"We have not done anything wrong and we want fairness," he said.
The TPL earlier said the club which won the case could still be relegated.
Si Sa Ket had played only three games this season before they were suspended due to a legal struggle with Esan United, while the other 17 teams in the league have by now played 21 or 22 games.
Si Sa Ket first played in the TPL a few years ago but after an ownership dispute at the club the FAT allowed a group of shareholders of the club to take over the right to play in the top flight under the name Esan United.
Earlier this year, the FAT made another ruling to return the right to play in the TPL to Si Sa Ket.
Esan United then brought the case to the Ubon Ratchathani Administrative Court, which ruled in favour of Esan United.
Si Sa Ket then lodged an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court.
Meanwhile, the TPL continues today, with the match between Chonburi and Suphanburi the highlight. Chonburi official Jeerasak Chomthong said selections would be affected by his team's injury concerns.
"We cannot use Natthaphong Samana and Thiago Cunha because they are still carrying injuries while Leandro Assumpcao will have a fitness test," he said.
