Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, the top two tennis players in the world, will take part in a fashion show of Thai silk ahead of their exhibition match in Hua Hin this week, organisers said yesterday.

World No.1 Williams and second-ranked Azarenka will meet in the Hua Hin World Tennis Invitation at Centennial Park in the resort town on Saturday.
On Friday, they will participate in a fashion show called 'Made in Thailand Night with Serena and Victoria' at the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
Designed by 'Yuki' Unawan Tangkarawakun, the dresses are made from award-winning silk from Pak Thong Chai district in Nakhon Ratchasima.
"It is an honour to have tennis superstars Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka to help promote Thai silk and Thailand," said Suwat Liptapanlop, president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand. Williams and Azarenka will also give alms to monks, he said.
Williams and Azarenka had memorable seasons winning three Grand Slam titles among them.
Williams won 11 tournaments including the French Open, US Open and season-ending WTA Championships, had a 78-4 record and reclaimed the world's top spot.
One of the most successful players of all time, Williams will make her Hua Hin debut.
Former No.1 Azarenka will play in the event for a third straight time. Hua Hin may be an auspicious place for the Belarusian as she went on to win back-to-back titles at the Australian Open in the past two years.
