Platini disagrees with Blatter over Boateng

UEFA president Michel Platini differed with his FIFA counterpart Sepp Blatter on Monday in applauding Kevin-Prince Boateng leading his AC Milan team-mates off the pitch after receiving a torrent of racial abuse in a friendly earlier this month.

Blatter had said players should not take matters into their own hands although he has since said that clubs whose fans are guilty of racial abuse could end up facing either points deductions or even demotion.

    So if a team needs some time to rest during the game or needs to slow down the opponents game at crucial moments, or get on the nerves of the players they get rewarded with two convenient stoppages ....

    Racial manifestations is against the law so it becomes a Police issue. Stop the game and remove the crowd from the stadium, on the way out book the names and do not sell them tickets next time.

    It takes a bit of work but the root of the problem at least in Sports Stadiums is solved.
