Despite their lack of resources, so many people out there are still committed to helping make the world a better place. The help they receive from readers shows that Thailand's "nam jai" ( helpfulness ) has not yet run dry despite our competitive society, which is riddled with so many social problems. It is this "nam jai" that makes the lives of the disadvantaged tolerable and peace possible.
