A 15-year-old Korean girl on holiday in Thailand was hit and killed by a car while she was jogging in Prachin Buri province on Thursday.
Police said the accident occurred in tambon Nonsi of Kabin Buri district.
Kim Saehee, a Korean teenager on vacation in Thailand with her family, was out for a morning jog along the Prachin Buri-Sa Kaeo highway when hit by a brand new Toyota Yaris. She died at the scene, suffering a broken neck and multiple lacerations.
The female driver, a teacher, told police she was driving from Ayutthaya province to teach a class in Sa Kaeo province when the accident happened.
Police suspect that the driver dozed off while driving.
