King has injection to ease knee pain

A team of physicians at Siriraj Hospital has administered an injection to alleviate pain in His Majesty the King's left knee, the Royal Household Bureau said yesterday.

The injection was provided after the King continued to suffer pain in his left knee despite medication being given orally. Pain in his right knee has disappeared. His Majesty still has a low fever, but his heartbeat and blood pressure are normal.
