Chamber music by seven contrasting composers will be the highlight of a classical concert to be performed by two prominent string players and a notable pianist next week.

Presented by the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation, the “Romantic Music’s Variety Celebrated” concert will offer a rich panoply of music, from classic Romanticism to the 20th century at Goethe Institute, Sathon Soi 1, on March 19 at 7.30pm.
The evening will celebrate music by seven composers from diverse cultural and historical backgrounds in a cornucopia of romantic music.
The programme will feature pieces from Rachmaninov, Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Wieniawski, Bruch, Manuel de Falla, Brahms and Piazzolla.
Performing will be two celebrated string players from the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (BSO) — home-grown violinist and violist Pisoot Saay-op-oua and Spanish violist David Abrahamyan. Both have recently been appointed violin and viola teachers and chamber music coaches at the Bangkok Symphony Music School (BSS).
The concert will also see the return of multiple prize-winning and much-respected Japanese pianist Jun Komatsu. She will join forces with the two musicians.
