The government has cut back its one-year performance presentation to one day instead of three, government spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd said yesterday.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will lead the presentation tomorrow which is expected to take an hour and will be followed by a 20-minute presentation from each of his six deputies supervising different ministries.
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon will, in the afternoon, preside over the opening of exhibitions showcasing the government's work covering security, justice, labour, economic affairs, social issues, education and culture.
Under the original plan, the presentation was to be held from tomorrow until Friday at Government House with the ministers from all ministries giving presentations.
However, Maj Gen Sansern said ministers will appear in the National Council for Peace and Order’s daily television programme from tomorrow to Jan 13, except Fridays, to discuss their work.
The first programme scheduled for tomorrow will feature Gen Prawit and the final broadcast will be made by Industry Minister Atchaka Sibunruang, he said.
