Mitsubishi Elevator Builds Future with School Donation

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) continues CSR project by donating a school building to Khok Sa-at School in Bueng Kan Province.

Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading distributor of elevators, escalators, and moving walks, is committed to social responsibility, believing that contributing to society fosters sustainable development. We are proud of our ongoing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, the Hometown School Development Project. This project allows employees to contribute to the development of schools in their hometowns. Employees within the organisation can nominate schools for development, benefiting students. Khok Sa-at School in Bueng Kan Province was selected, thanks to Mr. Natthawut Petcharachai from the Safety and Quality Department. The school received funding from Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to construct a new building, designed by students from INDA, the International Programme in Design and Architecture at Chulalongkorn University.

In February 2024, Ms. Kaori Takahashi, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd., alongside volunteer employees and teachers from INDA, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, participated in a ceremony to hand over the new building to Khok Sa-at School in Bueng Kan Province. Furthermore, Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) and its employees contributed by offering robes and other essentials to monks, donating school supplies, and supporting the "One Lift You Need, One Seed We Plant" project by donating trees to enhance the school's green spaces. Our goal is to improve children's quality of life and propagate positive values within society.
