Bike for Mom: The atmosphere

It was hot in Bangkok and most other provinces, with temperatures of 26 to 33 degrees Celsius, but that did not deter hundreds of thousands of cyclists who happily filled the streets on Sunday afternoon to take part in the "Bike for Mom" parade in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 83rd birthday. This video captures the atmosphere of the event, which had 294,863 riders, the biggest such parade ever, and was noted by the Guinness Book of World Records. (Video by Chumporn Sangvilert)
