Pruksa Real Estate Plc, a property development subsidiary of SET-listed Pruksa Holding Plc (PSH), has teamed up with CP All Plc, the operator of 7-Eleven, to set up convenience stores at all Pruksa housing projects.
Pruksa Real Estate chief executive Piya Prayong said the firms signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday to have 7-Eleven stores opened at Pruksa projects, be it single houses, townhouses or condominiums, in order to provide convenience to the company's clients.
The move is further intended to increase the service quality for future residents.
He said Pruksa is the first property developer to partner with CP All.
The firm this year plans to open 7-Eleven outlets at three Pruksa developments: Pruksa Ville Onnut-Suvarnabhumi, Delight Wongwan-Watcharapol and Scenery Soi Kaewin 25.
Apart from convenience stores, Mr Piya said the company is also committed to securing other partners to improve the quality of life, services and product offerings at its properties.
This half, Pruksa plans to launch 35 new residential projects worth a combined 30 billion baht. It launched 31 projects worth 30 billion baht in the first half.
Of the new projects due to be launched this year, three will be condominiums under The Privacy brand, to be located on Charan Sanit Wong Road, Sirindhorn Road and in the Rama IX area.
To capitalise on the government's Eastern Economic Corridor development project, PSH launched three new residential projects in eastern provinces this year worth a combined 2.3 billion baht.
The company launched two worth 1.2 billion baht in 2016.
Pruksa recorded 27 billion baht in presales in the first half of 2017, up from 21.6 billion in the same period of last year.
The company's presales target in 2017 is 52.9 billion baht, up from 44.4 billion last year.
PSH shares closed yesterday on the Stock Exchange of Thailand at 22.90 baht, up 30 satang, in trade worth 71.11 million baht.
