Global technology service provider NTT Ltd is working to draw a series of tech brands under its umbrella, while announcing its operations in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos will come under the leadership of Thai chief executive Sutas Kongdumrongkiat.

A series of tech brands, including Dimension Data, DTSI, Emerio, NTT Communications and NTT Security and Training Partners, have been brought together under NTT.

NTT indicated it will partner with 10,000 clients around the globe, including those in financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, energy and utilities, manufacturing and auto and technology.

In the future, other brands are expected to be phased in. They include Arkadin, CAPSiDE, Communications Lifecycle Management, DPA, DTSI Group, Emerio, e-shelter, Euricom, e2y, Global IP Network, Gyron and Netmagic Solutions.

A total of 28 companies and brands from over 70 countries are projected to be pulled in and rebranded as NTT.

London-based NTT, the US$11-billion global technology services company, was launched by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT Corporation) on July 1.

"We're delighted to launch the NTT brand in Asia-Pacific as various companies join the NTT Ltd Family," said John Lombard, Asia-Pacific chief executive for NTT.

Mr Lombard indicated Mr Sutas would lead NTT in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.

"I'm confident under his capable leadership, we will become a leading services provider that can deliver intelligent, innovative solutions that address any of our clients' digital challenges worldwide," he said.

Mr Sutas said it is an honour for him to lead the company's operations in the four countries.

"We're so proud to offer local clients access to the NTT brand and its wealth and breadth of capabilities," he said.

Mr Sutas will report to Asean chief executive for NTT, Kim-Meng Png, according to NTT's statement.

"The rebranding as NTT is a crucial step to drive the development of new innovations and enhance the delivery of ICT services to even more clients in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos," he said.

"We aim to deliver greater efficiency in the digital era."
