Suntory PepsiCo Beverage Thailand, the drinks distributor under the Suntory and Pepsi trademarks in Thailand, has teamed up with Chaixi Bameekiao, a renowned street noodle chain, to expand its distribution channel.

Under the partnership, Suntory PepsiCo will make available 300ml bottles of Pepsi at a retail price of 10 baht to more than 4,500 Chaixi Bameekiao noodle carts nationwide.

Promotional media and Pepsi signboards have been installed at some sales stands and Chaixi Bameediao locations.

Pepsi is sold at convenience stores, supermarkets/hypermarkets, grocery stores and restaurants.

Omer Malik, chief executive of Suntory PepsiCo Beverage Thailand, said the two companies' expertise and experience in the business will bring about efficient product distribution and marketing to reach target consumers nationwide.

"This partnership shows that Pepsi is the drink for everybody and can be paired with different types of food, including popular street food dishes like wonton egg noodles from Chaixi Bameekiao, which has for years been the favourite street food brand in Thailand," Mr Malik said.

He said the collaboration will fulfil the mission of making popular drinks available to consumers everywhere and at any time.

"When people in the provinces want to drink Pepsi, they have to go and buy it at stores," said Panrob Kamla, founder and president of Chaixi Bameekiao. "Chaixi Bameekiao will bring Pepsi to them. No matter how far they are, we can reach them."

Chaixi Bameekiao operates 4,500 outlets and seven distribution centres to ensure that its freshly made egg noodles are delivered to franchisees nationwide.

The distribution strategy will surely strengthen the two brands and allow them to benefit from each other's expertise, Mr Panrob said.
