Central Pattana Plc (CPN) is preparing to officially open the mixed-use project 'Central Si Racha' on Oct 27 in Chon Buri's Si Racha district.
Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana, executive vice-president of marketing at Central Pattana, said CPN had always been determined to drive the economy and the country.
"We have never stopped investing and developing new projects despite all the crises we have faced," he said.
Mr Nattakit added that for the past 40 years, CPN's investments have driven the local economies and created local wealth in every province as well as new jobs, new incomes and new business opportunities for communities and local entrepreneurs.
He said that under the principle of community at heart, the company focuses on being the centre of life in each community and organises activities that will benefit the public.
"Central Si Racha is ready for opening with an official opening date of Oct 27 this year," Mr Nattakit said. "The company is concerned about the pandemic situation and will focus on the safety and health of customers, employees and partner shops."
The project is billed as offering the best experience for the people of Si Racha. The company describes it as the largest full-range mixed-use project in the eastern region with a focus on lifestyle with a semi-outdoor design that will bring people closer to nature.
Central Si Racha is also designed to be environmentally-friendly under the sustainable business approach.
The semi-outdoor format is a model based on another CPN project, Central EastVille. It blends indoor and outdoor shopping with an outdoor walking street that encompasses a playground, a food street and a pet park in a green space of over 2,800 square metres.
Central Si Racha is also designed to be an eco-friendly mall with consideration given to resources and environment since the construction of the project. It is equipped with a green wall and solar rooftops.
"To expand the project, we conducted a business matching programme to provide opportunities for local investors and the country's top businesses to work together," Mr Nattakit said.
"We implemented a flexible leasing programme to help relieve tenants' income burdens in the first year."
In addition, he said that since the pandemic started the company has provided 360-degree assistance to tenants, which includes discounts and exemptions to the rents according to the situation. The company has helped tenants access multi-bank business rehabilitation loans from seven of the country's top banks.
