Financial service company Srisawad Corporation Plc (SAWAD) has further synergised with leading insurance companies to further penetrate the insurance brokerage market by expanding services to cover all types of insurances and by underlining the "One Stop Credit and Insurance Services by Srisawad" slogan.

Thida Kaewbootta, vice-president of corporate strategy at Srisawad Corporation, said the campaign targets both new and existing customers.

Ms Thida added that to help ease the burden of paying insurance premium installations in this fragile economy, Srisawad Corporation is presenting a special promotion with a 0% interest rate for up to 8 instalments through which customers gain coverage.

She said that the company is ready to expand into related businesses to create a proper business ecosystem that will enable Srisawad Corporation to offer a one-stop service to their customers.

The company is continuing collaborations with leading insurance companies in Thailand to provide fully integrated services, including non-life insurance, life insurance, credit protection insurance, and compulsory insurance to new and existing customers via more than 5,000 branches nationwide.

In addition, the company has developed an innovative Insurance Broker System (IBS) to support insurance sales at branches. IBS is recognised as a system that helps increase the efficiency of services and reduce wait time for approvals. The system allows customers to select an insurance company to compare insurance premiums.

According to data from the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), the insurance business will have a total of 847 billion-baht insurance premiums in 2021, an increase of 0.64% from the previous year. These figures reflect the significance of the insurance market and its positive future. The growth of the insurance market may prove to be an opportunity for all players, Ms Thida said.

Ms Thida added that Srisawad Corporation has decided to step up to the challenge and compete for portfolio growth and is aiming for a 2-billion-baht premium growth target by the end of 2021.

Srisawad has also cooperated with 11 leading insurance companies, namely Bangkok Insurance, Viriyah Insurance, Chubb Samaggi Insurance, Syn Mun Kong Insurance, Tokio Marine Insurance, Dhipaya Insurance, Falcon Insurance, Thaivivat Insurance, and Muang Thai Assurance, LMG Insurance, and Allianz Ayudhya General Insurance to present voluntary car insurance products covering type 1, type 2, and type 3.
