Thai financial consultancy KTBST Group and its subsidiaries have changed their name and logo to DAOL (Thailand), effective from Aug 15.
KTBST Group said its business is continuing as usual and is still committed to providing services ranging from brokerage securities, asset management, REIT management, welfare loans, digital platforms, and insurance brokerage.
Win Udomrachtavanich, executive chairman of DAOL (Thailand), said that South Korea-based KTB Investment & Securities, which is a major shareholder of KTBST Holding Plc or KTBST Group, changed its name and logo to DAOL Investment & Securities on March 25, 2022, to reflect the identity of the major shareholder.
As a result, KTBST Holding Plc (KTBST Group) has changed its name to DAOL (Thailand) Plc or DAOL (Thailand) and its subsidiaries have changed their name and logo as well, effective August 15.
The five significant changes are as follows: KTBST Securities Plc has changed its name to DAOL Securities (Thailand) Plc; We Asset Management Co has changed its name to DAOL Investment Management Co; REIT Management Co has changed its name to DAOL REIT Management (Thailand) Co; KTBST Lend Co has become DAOL Lend (Thailand) Co; and WE Digital Tech Co has been renamed DAOL Digital Partner Co.
However, DAOL (Thailand)'s investment portfolio company We Digital Insurance Broker Co will continue to use the original name. There has been no change in the management or services which DAOL (Thailand) offers and will not impact the ongoing cooperation and agreed terms.
Mr Win said that KTBST Group changed its name and logo to DAOL Investment & Securities to reflect the identity of the major shareholder with Korean nationality.
Clients can use the services of companies in the KTBST group as usual.
"DAOL [Thailand] operates by focusing on the value of employees in the organisation by enhancing the potential of employees to have knowledge and ability to create added value in client service as a comprehensive financial and investment adviser to achieve the new vision, DAOL, your lifetime financial partner," Mr Win said.
Mr Win added that DAOL (Thailand) aims to operate the business under a new mission of serving clients with experienced financial and investment professionals, diversified financial products and services, convenient and reliable processes, and the application of innovative technology to make clients' lives easier.
The word DAOL in Korean means "everything that attracts good fortune".
