HSBC Thailand was named "Best International Bank in Thailand" by Asiamoney and FinanceAsia magazines for the third consecutive year.

The company also swept up seven other awards, reaffirming its mission to "open up a world of opportunities" as the No.1 bank for inbound international business into Thailand and the leading international bank for Thai corporates and high net worth individuals looking to grow and diversify regionally and globally, according to a press release.

"HSBC Thailand's achievement winning 'Best International Bank in Thailand' from Asiamoney and FinanceAsia magazines, consistently from 2021 to 2023, underscores our strengths as the international bank best equipped to assist Thai and foreign customers in effectively expanding their businesses in Thailand," said Giorgio Gamba, chief executive of HSBC Thailand.

"As one of the world's largest banks, HSBC's international networks in 62 countries and territories remains a key competitive advantage and we will continue to support cross-border banking flows between major trade corridors where HSBC has a presence, especially in China, the US, Europe, Asean, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. Our global network, international experience and innovative digital banking platforms help our business customers find greater opportunities globally to grow their companies."

The other awards the bank received include: "Trade Market Leader in Thailand" from Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023, and "Best Digital Solution Trade Finance: Indorama Ventures Plc", "Best Payments and Collections Solution: Flash Coffee Thailand" and "Best Service Provider for Trade Finance in Thailand", all from the Asset Triple A Awards 2023.

The bank also bagged "Best Sub-Custodian in Thailand" from the Asset Triple A Awards for the 14th consecutive year, "Best Fund Administrator, Retail Funds in Thailand" from the same group for the ninth consecutive year, and "Best Bank -- USD/THB" from the Thailand FX Awards.

"We are honoured to receive these prestigious awards. Coupled with the confidence placed in HSBC Thailand by leading corporate customers, including Indorama Ventures and Flash Coffee Thailand, they underscore our success in doing business here and highlight our strengths in connecting investment opportunities across the globe as one of the world's largest banks, and the leading international bank in Asia," said Mr Gamba.

"HSBC is determined to continue expanding its business in Thailand by offering the most comprehensive financial solutions, supporting the growth of our high net worth individual and corporate customers at both regional and global levels."

HSBC Thailand, established 134 years ago, offers comprehensive services, including global private banking, wholesale banking, and global markets and securities services.
