Just 99 samples of the carbonfibre-bodied, 600hp sports car will be made with first deliveries in early 2017.
Aston Martin has given the Vanquish Zagato Coupe the green light for production, although only 99 units of it will be made.
The British sports car, developed with the help of the Italian design house, remains largely faithful to the concept version shown at a posh Italian lakeside event in May this year.
An outstanding detail of the Vanquish Zagato is the bladed rear lights, while the body work is made from carbonfibre.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.0-litre V12 producing 600hp – 27hp more than in the regular Vanquish. This helps give the Vanquish Zagato a 0-100kph time of 3.5sec – 0.3sec quicker than the stock model.
Although pricing hasn’t been revealed, the Vanquish Zagato is reportedly said to cost around 75 million baht if brought over to Thai shores. First deliveries are slated for early next year.
This is the fifth model co-designed by Aston Martin and Zagato. The four previous ones were the 2011 V12 Vantage, 2002 DB7, 1986 V8 Vantage and 1960 DB4.
