Changes include subtle exterior tweaks and more standard equipment; hybrid model to follow later.
Honda Automobiles Thailand has launched the facelifted Accord with mild exterior changes and more standard equipment.
There are redesigned head and tail lights with LED and daytime running lamps up front.
Inside, there’s new trim and the latest in infotainment to accommodate Apple CarPlay. As well, the user can now use a remote system to start the engine and turn on the air-conditioning system from the outside of the car.
The existing four-cylinder E85-compatible petrol engines have been carried over including the 155hp 2.0-litre and 174hp 2.4-litre units. Both are still mated to five-speed automatic transmissions.
Prices of the 2.0 range from 1.385-1.445 million baht, while the 2.4 goes for 1.635 million baht.
Honda has also confirmed that the hybrid version will be updated soon, although it hasn’t delved into the technical details of the petrol-electric drivetrain.
