Many popular participants from the Korean TV music competition show Produce 101 Season 2 have always received warm welcome by Thai fans when they come to perform here. The rookie boy band AB6IX will be no exception, as they will give their first fan meeting in the Kingdom in the next two months.
Presented by RegiStar, "AB6IX 1st Fan Meeting: 1st ABNEW In Bangkok" will take place at Impact Exhibition Hall 5, Muang Thong Thani, on Aug 31.
Founded only a month ago, the quintet comprises four former participants of the Produce 101 reality show -- Lim Youngmin, 23; Kim Donghyun, 20; Park Woojin, 19; Lee Daehwi, 18; and Jeon Woong, a 22-year-old singer who trained at several music labels during the past five years.
Their music label, Brand New Music, revealed that AB6IX refers to "absolute six" and six means five members and their fan club, ABNEW.
The group has impressed listeners with its debut EP, B:Complete, for which they also wrote the lyrics and music arrangements, especially the youngest member, Daehwi. Despite K-pop's high competition, their song Breath could win at music TV programmes such as The Show and Show Champion.
For the upcoming fan meeting, Thai fans can expect the boys to entertain them with fun interviews and by performing Hollywood, Shining Star and the chart topping track Breathe from B:Complete.
Tickets cost 2,000, 3,800, 4,800 and 5,900 baht, and will be available from registarthailand.com on July 13 from 10am onwards.
