Moly says Moo

Holy Moly maybe known for pies, but their yoghurt range is pretty damn good too

SOCIAL & LIFESTYLE

Dainty-looking gourmet pies probably come to mind when you mention the name "Holy Moly". And although we love their savoury and sweet offerings that are neatly packaged in delicious puff pastries, our recent visit to their new stall in Siam Paragon had us drooling over a new (albeit surprising) range of treats.

The frozen yoghurt craze that took over Bangkok had numbed our excitement for a while and sure, new places still keep popping up we can't help but dread the whole concept of friggin' froyo altogether. Holy Moly took a different route though and stuck with the good ol' yoghurt format.

Not one to settle for the basics, they serve up gourmet yoghurt with plenty of flavours to choose from. These photogenic jars work as a quick breakfast fix and as a healthy treat after a meal. There's a great combo of quality toppings that range from sea salt, honeycomb to fresh pieces of mango.

For something that will wake your tastebuds right up, go for the Mango & passion fruit (B135). The creamy yoghurt paired with the sharp and tangy passion fruit and sweetness of the mango is just fantastic. The chia seeds on top are also another plus and make the yoghurt more filling without the carbs.

Chocoholics shouldn't miss the Chocolate & seasalt (B135) as you'll find it to be indulgent yet well-balanced in flavour. It's an ideal ending to a meal and a great alternative to having ice cream for dessert.

We know how hard it is -- walking around the killer spread -- and only picking one (or two) things to feast on at Siam Paragon. If you've got "cut the carbs" as one of your New Year Resolutions, Holy Moly's new range of gourmet yoghurt is definitely for you. If, however, you couldn't give a rat's arse about calories, blood sugar count and fat content -- well, then, you can go stuff your face with all the cheese tarts and don't forget to tell the world about it on Instagram and #foodporn.
