The Mall Bangkok Food Expo 2019 will bring a variety of the finest cuisines from over 200 famous restaurants from across Asia to the Grand Hall of The Mall Bangkae, Phetkasem Road, from tomorrow Nov 7 until Nov 13.
Held under the "Asian Taste Fest" concept, the weeklong food expo will present a selection of 20 local restaurants guaranteed by famous food guru Shell Chuan Chim. They include Tow Phed Yang Restaurant, Jae Tu Klongtoey Restaurant, Jueng Ung Luck Restaurant, Steak Chef Un Restaurant and Pa Eaw Dao Lhom Duen Thai dessert shop. Delectable menus that won Michelin Bib Gourmand awards will be served including stewed pork belly with steamed buns and bubble tea from Luk Kai Thong Restaurant, stewed pork with egg from Kiew Kai Ka Restaurant, noodles with fish balls from Lim Lao Ngow, and pork with yellow curry paste from Khua Kling Pak Sod Restaurant.
This is also a chance to sample two of Hong Kong's famous dishes -- egg noodles from Mak's Noodle shop and roasted goose from Michelin-starred Kam's Roast Goose restaurant.
Foodies can also indulge in signature dishes from many other restaurants from across Asia and beyond. They include Sichuan chicken pot from Ah Nam Kitchen, pho bo or Vietnamese beef noodle soup from Le Dalat Restaurant, Kourakuen ramen from Aizu-Wakamatsu Restaurant, Hokkien-style bak kut teh or pork rib soup from Seng Huat Restaurant, and lava cheesy burger from Jim's Burgers & Beers.
Also available will be desserts, snacks and drinks from popular shops on social media, most of them belonging to stars and celebrities. The expo will then move to EmQuartier from Nov 13 until 17 and The Mall Thapra from Dec 5 until 11.
