Ever wondered what it would feel to live like an Indian monarch in the 300-year-old City Palace of Jaipur? Well, you can find out for yourself now that the Gudliya Suite of this iconic building in the heart of Rajasthan's capital is accessible and bookable on Airbnb. Having until now been reserved for royals and esteemed guests such as Bill Clinton, Prince Charles and Jackie Kennedy, the luxurious suite is a rare opportunity to witness the rich history, cultural heritage and artistic traditions of Jaipur's royal family. It comprises a lounge, kitchen, luxurious bathroom and private indoor swimming pool. Guests will be feted by a private butler who will arrange curated city experiences including shopping tours, guided walks through local museums and other excursions. Authentic Rajasthani meals may be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the Aravalis, and a peaceful daily breakfast can be had in the company of the peacocks who roam the palace's lush gardens. The suite is available to book on select nights for a special inaugural offer of US$1,000 (30,000 baht) per night. From Jan 1, onwards, the suite will be available to book at the full US$8,000 rate.
Bvlgari's cinema paradiso
Bvlgari fans, don't miss the Italian luxury brand's recently opened pop-up store at Siam Paragon. Inspired by Italian cinema of the 1960s, in which Bvlgari featured prominently, the store goes by the name "Pop (Up) Corn" and comes in the form of a colourful, enchanting carousel, with a reproduction of the door from its Via Condotti boutique in Rome. The pop-up features a colourful carousel lit by a row of lights and ceramic-form popcorn. In the animated space, the projector is turned towards the limited editions. Gathered together in a single setting, they illustrate the harmony found between the House's collections, one of the signatures of Bvlgari. The internal windows are dressed in light and take top billing. On display are the real stars of the show -- the limited edition Serpenti Forever handbag in Rosa di Francia calf leather. Bvlgari's Pop (Up) Corn will wrap up on Jan 4.
