With children studying online and parents feeling pressure during the Covid-19 crisis, Southeast Asia Center (SEAC) and YourNextU Young offers its first Family Package to help enhance essential life skills and strengthen family bonds through virtual classrooms.
Conducted by certified, experienced trainers, the programmes will build knowledge, create understanding and encourage discussions among family members.
"Aiming to empower living and fulfil people's goals in life, SEAC's programmes and services are designed for people of all ages to learn new skills and to develop continuously all through their lives. For example, the Organisational and People Transformation provides contextualised solutions for organisations looking for transformation; and Workforce Capability Development will support people to reskill and upskill through the subscription-based unlimited-learning YourNextU model, where learners can choose their own approach," said Arinya Talerngsri, chief capability officer and managing director of SEAC.
Designed for children aged nine to 15, the programmes will teach on the theory of 6Cs -- competence, confidence, character, caring, connection and contribution -- all of which are essential as foundations for every child to reach their goals in all aspects of life.
"We believe that parents are the key to children's learning and sustainable development. As a result, communications which are based on true understanding is extremely important in enabling appropriate development well-suited for children's ages. This also means to avoid pressuring them or putting too much concentration on academic results to the point that blocks their opportunity to learn other different dimensions," Arinya added.
The package features three courses of First Sigh Journey, Advanced Journey and Grand Journey, ranging from 1,600 baht to 7,200 baht, while parents can attend free sessions of Growth and Outward Mindset.
