Marc Jacobs' love of stripes shows in his beauty products besides ready to-wear. The metallic packaging of the new eye make-up collection features black stripes that also symbolise lavish lashes.
"I especially love long, spidery lashes," said the fashion designer. "When we were working on a new mascara, I referenced tons of iconic images of women with very long, defined eyelashes."
The new At Lash'd lengthening and curling mascara is a vegan formula containing lash conditioners biotin peptide and provitamin B5, while plant waxes help build instant volume with a lightweight feel -- without flaking or smudging.
The brush features a tapered wand tip and wavy bristles, designed to evenly coat each lash from root to tip for buildable volume and length.
Besides the mascara, the collection includes Limited Gold Edition Eye-conic Multi-Finish Eye Palette and Highliner Gel Eye Crayon.
"I find self-expression really happens in the eyes because they're these little canvases for colour, shimmer, shine, and shape," Jacobs said of eye make-up.
The eyeshadow palette is loaded with seven shades, whose finishes are inspired by textiles and layering of his fashion designs; while the gel eye crayons with a built-in sharpener are available in five shimmering colours.
Marc Jacobs Beauty cosmetics are available at Sephora stores.
