Looking for green plants to freshen up your life during the work-from-home period? Just stop by The Market Bangkok on Ratchaprasong and you will find some ideas and inspirations during the third "Grow Green Market #Growtogether GrowFromHome", which is running at R Walk, M floor, until May 31.
The fair brings a wide variety of plants such as air-purifying trees, auspicious, flowering, ornamental, polka dot, caudiciform (fat plants) and succulent plants, along with cactus and other rare species; as well as planting tools and garden decoration items direct from professional growers.
Shoppers can view the colourful plants at each stall and take photos within the giant tunnel arch and at other areas decorated with numerous kinds of popular plants.
Saplings will be given away to visitors who like the Facebook page: The Market Bangkok. Choices include perennial plants such as chamchuri (rain tree or East Indian walnut), kalpapruek (cassia or wishing tree), peacock flower, cork wood tree, rosewood or tamalin, inthanin (Queen's flower), Yang, phayom (shorea or white meranti), and pluang (gurjan).
Also available are saplings of edible plants such as chaya or tree spinach and herbs such as bitterleaf tree and thong phan chang (white crane flower).
