The "Japan Signature" fair is back with authentic delicious Japanese cuisine at CentralWorld Square, starting Wednesday until March 19 daily, from 11am to 10pm.
Set in a "Kampai Time" atmosphere, roughly translated as "Cheers!" or "Time to Drink Together", this year's event invites everyone to eat, drink and have fun the Japanese way.
A highlight for after-work chillout is "Izakaya in Town", featuring Shakariki 432, a legendary Izakaya restaurant that serves authentic Osaka-style Yakitori (skewered chicken), Kushikatsu (deep-fried skewered meat and vegetables) and a variety of drinks.
Dedicated to those who love noodles, beef, curry rice and Donburi, the "Signature Live Cafe" zone gathers popular restaurants to serve signature dishes. They include tonkotsu ramen from Tsu Na Gu Ramen, curry and wagyu beef steak from Kuro Ki Iro restaurant, and chirashi don or fresh raw fish on rice from Don restaurant.
Then, stroll along the "Japan Street Food" zone which presents more than 1,000 savoury dishes, sweet delights and refreshing beverages. They include hashimaki or Japanese-style pizza on chopsticks with rich sauce from Okonomiyaki Takuya restaurant, skewered grilled squid tentacles with spicy dipping sauce from Zong Tako-Tori, and sashimi and sushi rolls from Love Sushi Salmon.
Those with a sweet tooth will love Japanese sponge cakes and taiyaki snacks from Baby Castella & Taiyaki; delicious bubble waffles from Waffleful; as well as wagashi snacks and traditional Japanese desserts such as dango, mochi, and warabimochi from Kansai Yamato.
After CentralWorld, the "Japan Signature 2024" will proceed to Central Bangna from March 26 to April 1 and 12 select Central shopping centres nationwide before wrapping up at Central Ubon from Oct 25 to Nov 4.
