Phuket Hotels Association is holding the second annual edition of "Mind The Gap: Women & Diversity In Hospitality", an inspiring half-day conference that will address the critical issues facing women in the workplace, at Saii Laguna Phuket's Similan Ballroom, on Aug 31 from 1.30-5pm.
Held to enhance a professional career, mindfulness and work-life balance, the learning event will feature a series of key talks, frank discussions and immersive workshops that will confront conventional thinking and create meaningful solutions to a range of issues.
Leading the conversation will be keynote speaker Anchalika Kijkanakorn, the successful founder and managing director of Akaryn Hotel Group, who will discuss opportunities and challenges of being a "Woman Leader".
One of the latest in a series of top-level speakers set to take centre stage at the event will be Pranapda Phornprapha Chirathivat, founder of Dragonfly360, a regional platform designed to promote gender equality in Asia. She will focus on "The Power Of Transforming Lives Through Simple Actions".
The stellar line-up also includes Max Simpson, founder and CEO of Steps; Christina Ho, an airline pilot and TEDx speaker; and Kirsten Fletcher, Australian consul-general in Phuket.
Also revealing their insights will be Nikki Phinyapincha, founder of TransTalents Consulting Group; Patteera Maneesri, vice-president of HR & Brand Culture at S Hotels & Resorts; Naureen Ahmed, founder of Inspiring Women in Hospitality; Papungkron Numprasit, instructor and supervisor at Dusit Thani College; David Boucher, CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital Phuket; and Paul Hawco, global director of Integrated Wellbeing at Banyan Group.
