It was a gorgeous night to remember for the bridal couple, Teerapa Phomphan, daughter of Srisakul Promphan and Suthep Thaugsuban and Pornthep Techapaiboon, and Suraparp Limatibul, son of Pasinee and Sumet Limatibul, who celebrated their wedding in style at the Dusit Thani Bangkok recently.
The wedding celebration, graciously presided over by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, was held in the grand Napalai Ballroom with the venue being transformed into "Paradise on Earth" by a touch of magic in the form of beautiful white and green flowers placed all over the place, as well as hanging from ceilings. Glittering lights were cleverly added here and there to brighten a joyful evening of true love. Among the highlights that greeted guests upon arrival was an impressive photo gallery stretching from the foyer to the grand ballroom -- depicting the couple's sweet "Story of Love", proof that their married life will be happy and long-lasting.
More than 1,000 distinguished guests, families, friends and familiar faces of the Bangkok social scene attended in full swing. Guests were treated to a wide range of exquisite cocktails and culinary delights. This was followed by a beautiful multi-tiered cake-cutting ceremony by the newlyweds using a ceremonial sword.
The truly wonderful night concluded with an after-party featuring live music entertainment and impressive songs sung by a team of well-known artists, including Boy Peacemaker, T Jetset'er and Burin Boonvisut.
