Defending champions Thailand will face Gabon in their first match at the 46th King's Cup tournament in Bangkok later this month following yesterday's draw.
Slovakia will take on the United Arab Emirates in the other game on the opening day on March 22 at Rajamangala National Stadium.
The winners will meet in the final and the losers will play in the third-place play-off on March 25.
The first match of each day kicks off at 4.30pm and the second at 7.30pm.
Earlier, the Football Association of Thailand said the visiting teams would use strong squads featuring the likes of Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Slovakia playmaker Marek Hamsik and the UAE's Omar Abdulrahman.
All matches will be shown live on Thai Rath TV (32). Tickets for the tournament are 100 and 500 baht and available at Thai Ticket Major outlets.
Meanwhile, Thai League 1 giants SCG Muang Thong United have threatened not to release their players for the national team if the FAT fails to improve the standard of its referees.
Muang Thong executives met yesterday and decided that in future they may not allow players, who are not fully fit, to join the national team.
Team manager Pieansak Onsum-arang said members of the club's executive board were frustrated that match officials did not protect their players.
He claimed that the Kirins' international players such as Charyl Chappuis, Adisorn Promrak and Tristan Do were injured after being kicked and elbowed during a Thai League 1 match against Air Force Central last Friday but the opponents escaped unpunished by the referee.
Muang Thong won 1-0.
"We have always given cooperation to the national team but match officials have not tried to protect our players,'' Pieansak said.
"We want fairness. If this continues, we will allow players to join the national team only when it is really necessary."
