The world No.76 pair stunned defending champions Leo Rolly Carnando and Daniel Marthin of Indonesia, the third seeds, 21-17, 21-19, 21-16 to reach the men's doubles quarter-finals of the World Tour Super 300 event.
Peeratchai and Pakkapon will play sixth seeds Akira Koga and Taichi Saito of Japan in the quarter-finals.
The world No.14 pair defeated Chang Ko-chi and Po Li-wei of Taiwan 21-13, 21-19.
"It was a tough match with a lot of pressure moments," said the Thai duo. "We watched them before on the TV screen so it was exciting to be playing against them and actually beating them today.
"We will next play Akira Koga and Taichi Saito of Japan in the next round and we will have to study their game. We will try to do our best tomorrow."
Meanwhile women's top seed Ratchanok Intanon survived a scare against Tomoka Miyazaki.
The Thai world No.13 was put to the test by the 40th-ranked Japanese but eventually came through with a 21-19, 9-21, 21-18 victory to set up a last-eight clash with compatriot Busanan Ongbamrungphan, who defeated Malvika Bansod of India 24-22, 21-7 earlier in the day.
Another Thai hope Supanida Katethong, the fourth seed, also progressed with a 21-17, 21-14 win over Lin Hsiang-ti of Taiwan.
There was no trouble either for mixed doubles top seeds Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai who eased into the last eight after defeating Cheng Xing and Zhang Chi of China 21-8, 21-17.
They will play Japanese seventh seeds Kyohei Yamashita and Naru Shinoya, who defeated the other Thai pair Supak Jomkoh and Supissara Paewsampran 13-21, 21-17, 21-15.
Women's doubles defending champions Benyapa Aimsaard and Nuntakarn Aimsaard reached the quarters after beating Lanny Tria Mayasari and Ribka Sagiarto of Indonesia 21-13, 25-23.
Kantaphon Wangcharoen bowed out after losing to eighth seed Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong 13-21, 12-21 in the men's singles.
