Manchester United football club will bring its star-studded squad to Bangkok for a friendly match against the Thai Premier League All-Stars team next year, Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) governor Kanokphan Julkasem said on Wednesday.
"Man United will visit Thailand between July 10 and 27 next year but I cannot specify the exact date of the match yet," Mr Kanokphan said.
He said strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie along with highly rated Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa and Spain's Olympics goalkeeper David de Gea will lead the squad.
"They will likely face the Thai Premier League All-Stars team at the Rajamangala National Stadium."
The English club will visit four countries on their Asian tour in 2013, Thailand's sports chief added.
