PTT Oil Price is an application especially developed for drivers, allowing them to check the current oil prices, which are updated on a daily basis.
The app's interface is impressively user-friendly. Upon opening the app, users will be immediately directed to a screen displaying the current oil price featuring all types of fuel including Gasohol 95, Gasohol 91, Gasohol E20, Gasohol E85, Diesel and Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV). The price is based on information from the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT). Users can share oil prices to friends via email, SMS and social networks including Facebook and Twitter.
Making use of the smartphone's location-based services, the app can help you find the petrol station closest to your location in case you are running out of fuel. It also suggests how far the distance is from your location to the nearest station to help you calculate if the remaining fuel is enough to cover the distance.
And once you click on the petrol station you want to go, the app will show you the directions either in standard Google Maps or the satellite format.
The application also provides links to traffic news station FM91 and Jor Sor 100, in case you want to keep yourself updated with the current traffic situations.
PTT Oil Price is currently available free of charge only on Apple iOS. Information in the app is in both Thai and English.
