The photojournalism of the Bangkok Post was a key element in the newspaper's news story-telling during 2020.
These Photos of the Year have captured important incidents and events, some of them historic moments, over the past 12 months.
The first outbreak of Covid-19 that reached its peak in April, for instance, came as one of the nation's gravest crises, which prompted a curfew to be imposed by the government to contain the spread of the new coronavirus along with the implementation of health measures to prevent more people from contracting the deadly virus.
And while political, social and environmental movements in this country have come and gone, the recording of these activities through the lens will always serve as a reminder of all these stories and memories, good or bad.
This collection of photographs instantly bring back memories as well as feelings associated with past events.
