Paisit appointed new DSI chief

A royal command has been issued appointing Pol Col Paisit Wongmuang, deputy director-general of the Department of Special Investigation, as the DSI director-general.

The royal command, which took effect on Nov 5, was countersigned by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

Pol Col Paisit replaces Suwana Suwanjutha, who has been appointed permanent secretary of the Justice Ministry.
