The cabinet on Tuesday transferred Anti-Money Laundering Office (Amlo) secretary-general Seehanat Prayoonrat into an advisory role at the organisation.

Pol Col Seehanat will take a new position from next Sunday in a move proposed to the cabinet by the agency, the government said on its website.

The reasons for the change at the top of Amlo remain unclear as the cabinet did not give details about the shift.
