The Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), led by Governor Pongsak Thambovorn, lit candles to pay respects before the image of King Rama V, at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground.
The MEA assigned officials to manage electricity systems during the ceremony on 23 October 2019, in honour and remembrance of King Rama V.
