The Community Development Department (CDD), Ministry of Interior, organizes the annual sale event where OTOP products and textiles from the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techiques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand (SUPPORT Foundation) are available from across the country. The event is from 8th to 16th August 2020, 10.00-21.00 hrs. at Challenger Hall 2, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
CDD and its committees select the premium, outstanding and high-quality community products from OTOP artists across the country. Since 2016, there are 203 entrepreneurs selected to exhibit in this event. Moreover, there are fabric exhibitions from the winners of Thai Textile Awards, OTOP Premium, OTOP Brandname, OTOP Food, flash sales and fashion shows.
The Community Development Department (CDD) in collaboration with National Council of Women of Thailand promotes Thai textiles among domestic markets in order to praise Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother and the national heritage conservation and uniqueness of Thai textiles. By wearing Thai-fabric outfits, it is expected that it shall generate an annual domestic revenue around 105,000 million baht. The forecast is based on the scenario that 35 millions of Thai people buy 10 meters of the textiles for each person, with an average cost of 300 baht per one meter.
Come visit and support the OTOP entrepreneurs from 76 provinces whom CDD has selected to proudly present. COVID-19 prevention procedures are strictly enforced for the entire event such as frequent cleaning, UVC sanitizers, and alcohol hand gel provided.
