The global coronavirus outbreak has forced the suspension of several activities, including the way we live, transportation and travelling.
It is inevitable that people have to adjust themselves to the new normal lifestyle.
Social distancing, wearing a face mask, regular hand washing and using one’s own spoon and fork are among the most effective solutions.
The longer the situation persists the more facilities are created to support the new normal lifestyle in Thailand, including new kinds of temperature measuring devices that are widely used and new mobile phone applications for monitoring health such as ‘ThaiChana’ and ‘MorChana’. These clearly show that Thailand is ready to welcome tourism back to life once again.
Moreover, Thailand is widely admired and recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for having high capacity to confront the health-threatening pandemic compared to many other countries, including advanced countries.
The most important thing is, in recent times of social distancing, not only saving people’s lives, but also providing a break for the rehabilitation of communities, learning sites, as well as nature have been refreshed to be like a new pure global environment.
Thanks to Thai people for their responsibility to themselves and others and showing their readiness to handle all related situations as well as cooperating with government measures. As a result, we could successfully break through the cirsis together.
To reopen the country slowly and safely to visitors, we have established health checkpoints for screening COVID-19 transmission. We have also arranged a wide range of accommodations for the 14-day alternative state quarantine (ASQ) facilities. This way we will surely welcome visitors to enjoy fun times in Thailand once again when the situation gets better.
Until we meet again.
