Michael Kors is excited to announce Australia’s leading food editor and bestselling cookbook author Donna Hay has starred in the MICHAEL KORS Global Video campaign, “What’s On My Table,” in support of the brand’s Watch Hunger Stop philanthropic initiative.

The series presents world-renowned chefs and famed at-home cooks as they create dishes with easy-to-follow recipes for viewers to whip up in their own kitchens. The series will feature talent from around the world – from USA to London, from the Middle East to Asia, amongst others. As the stars share their dishes, they will also be modelling special-edition Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop products whose sales help fight global hunger. 

Watch Hunger Stop supports the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in their mission to achieve Zero Hunger and provide much needed school meals to children in food insecure areas.

“What’s On My Table” kicked off in October on World Food Day with Shereen Palvides, a social media cooking star known for her account “Cooking With Shereen.” The series then continued with Andy Baraghani as the author and chef prepped the perfect side dish for Thanksgiving. 

Australia’s leading food editor and bestselling cookbook author Donna Hay now takes the series global in her filmed “Upside Down Pavlova”, from her native Sydney.

Through the end of the year and into 2022, viewers can expect more episodes of the “What’s On My Table” series with notable chefs to come.

WATCH HUNGER STOP PRODUCT CAPSULE 2021

This year’s special-edition Watch Hunger Stop capsule, designed and produced with the aim of minimising environmental impact, includes a black T-shirt, hat and mask. A red heart patch spelling out the word LOVE, introduced in last year’s capsule, appears on the T-shirt sleeve, while the WFP logo in white is printed on the back. Both the LOVE patch and the WFP logo also feature prominently on the hat and mask. The T-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and retails $40; the hat retails for $68; and the mask retails for $24. All three products are available for purchase online and in select Michael Kors Lifestyle stores around the world. For every LOVE T-shirt, hat or mask sold, Michael Kors will donate all profits to children in need through the World Food Programme. To date, we’ve helped WFP deliver more than 24 million school meals.

*PROGRAM DETAILS: For each Watch Hunger Stop LOVE T-shirt, hat or mask purchased from a Michael Kors retail store or official Michael Kors website, Michael Kors will donate 100% of profits (equivalent to the average value of 100 meals or US $25 for the T-shirt and hat, and 80 meals or US $20 for the mask) to WFP.
