Matinee Maipang, MD, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Group 1 and Hospital Director of Bangkok Hospital Headquarters said that it has been 50 years now that Bangkok Hospital have committed to provide best services to all patients of different ages, genders and nationalities. The hospital has successfully introduced Healthcare Intelligence that employs medical informatics technology and computer to gather clinical information of each patient. All information necessary for the treatment will be recorded and compared to facilitate the physicians to make proper decision and to provide 24-hour medical treatment to the patients, both inside and outside the hospital. Moreover My B+ application has been launched enabling customers an easy access to receive medical services from the hospital.
My B+ application is considered as a health buddy to enable customers to access their healthcare information anywhere, anytime. The app offers real-time appointment, tele-consultation services, reviewing Medical History and prescribed medication lists, downloading testing results and medical certificate of COVID-19 as well as payment and other service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, such modern technology helps patients to access medical and other healthcare services at their fingertip.
As for this year Bangkok Hospital has collaborated with the BDMS Group to offer a special BDMS Screening program for brain, cancer and heart for persons aged 35 and over at a price of 5,550 baht. The program includes cancer screening test in which a male completes an upper abdomen ultrasound. For the female, the screening test comprises a digital mammogram and ultrasound both sides; brain and neuro system screening test involves each patient completing a Carotid Doppler Ultrasound. This is a non-invasive ultrasound that examines the carotid arteries in the neck to see if there is any narrowing or plaque buildup in the carotid arteries; coronary artery disease screening test detects and measures levels of calcium plaque in the artery walls by using a CT coronary calcium score, a non-invasive computer x-ray. These screening tests will enable our physicians to determine the existence and extent of disease as they say “Knowing earlier is better”.

We also assigned a team of medical personnel to station at the 100 beds BDMS field hospital located at Dhupateme Royal Thai Air Force Sports Stadium and to provide Portable Isolation Chamber Negative Pressure for transporting emergency patients. This year we also provide vaccination services on optional vaccines to high-risk groups and school children.
